The general rule of human interaction is... those who cannot bend will eventually be broken.
Israel wants all people to accomidate them, but wants to make no alowances for anyone else.
There will never be peace over there if neither side is willing to bend a little.

Two cautions here.

1. They will also search your records if you need a security clearance. Part of the security clearance application is a question asking if you have received psychiatric treatment. Another part constitutes your consent for the government to search your medical records.

2. Combat exposure can make past problems of depression and anxiety come back. In fact, even Basic Training can bring them back. Each Basic Training class has a few recruits who get booted out because they have mental breakdowns or suicide gestures.

If your recruiter encouraged you to lie, that's not good at all. However, even a general discharge isn't good. I doubt MEPS would have not cleared you from something as trivial as that.

With that said, good luck, and I hope you don't get caught.

Depression symptoms can vary greatly because different people experience depression in different ways. For some people, depression symptoms are so severe that it's obvious something isn't right. Others may feel generally miserable or unhappy without really knowing why.

Atypical depression" is not an official diagnostic category, but it is often discussed informally. A person suffering from atypical depression generally has increased appetite and sleeps more than usual. An atypical depressive may also be able to enjoy pleasurable circumstances despite being unable to seek out such circumstances. This contrasts with the "typical" depressive, who generally has reduced appetite and insomnia, and who is often unable to find pleasure in anything. Despite its name, atypical depression may in fact be more common than the other kind.

Depression, formally called major depression, major depressive disorder or clinical depression, is a medical illness that involves the mind and body. It affects how you think and behave and can cause a variety of emotional and physical problems. You may not be able to go about your usual daily activities, and depression may make you feel as if life just isn't worth living anymore.

I believe that you suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder but I am not a doctor, therefore only a qualified medical practitioner can diagnose your mental depressive disorder.

God Bless you! Take care as always!!
